How can I find out what prison my partner or friend has been sent to?

You can contact the Irish Prison Service Headquarters on 043 - 3335100 to check if there is a family member in custody. You will be asked to provide name and date of birth of prisoner and you will have to state your relationship to the prisoner. Should you fail to provide these details your query will not be processed.
