PDFPrisoners' Families Information was started by some people who had experience in working with prisoners and their families.
It was set up as a limited company in 2005..
The phoneline is no longer in operation since June 2011. The website and the email service continue to operate.
The company has charitable status (Charity Number: CHY 16721).
Prisoners' Families Information is a member of the Telephone Helplines Association.
